Prayers and Songs
Pre-Activity Rituals
In the traditions of the Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc. (PGBI), certain rituals are observed to foster unity, spirituality, and a sense of purpose before engaging in activities or gatherings. These pre-activity rituals serve to set the tone, invoke blessings, and strengthen the brotherhood among members.
Recitation of the GUARDIANS Prayer
Before every activity or gathering, members participate in the recitation of the GUARDIANS Prayer. This prayer is a solemn and meaningful invocation that seeks guidance, protection, and divine blessing for all involved. It underscores the spiritual foundation of the brotherhood and reinforces the members’ commitment to their shared values and principles.
Singing of the GUARDIANS Song
At the conclusion of each activity, before members disperse, they sing the GUARDIANS Song. This song acts as a unifying anthem that encapsulates the spirit, identity, and camaraderie of the brotherhood. Singing together fosters a sense of belonging and leaves members with a shared sense of pride and purpose.
Purpose of the Rituals
These rituals are designed to create a sacred space for the members, emphasizing discipline, unity, and spirituality. They remind members of their common goals and reinforce their bond as brothers committed to the ideals of the GUARDIANS Brotherhood.
In essence, the Pre-Activity Rituals—the recitation of the prayer and the singing of the song—are vital practices that uphold the spiritual and communal integrity of the brotherhood, ensuring that each activity is conducted with reverence, purpose, and brotherly solidarity.
