PGBI Victorias Chapter Receives Honorarium for Outstanding Service During Kadalag-an Festival
Victorias City, March 23, 2025 – Members of the PGBI Victorias Chapter, proudly standing since 2002, gathered for a significant moment during the turnover ceremony of an honorarium amounting to Twenty Thousand Pesos (₱20,000.00). This gesture of appreciation was tendered by the City Government of Victorias in recognition of their invaluable services as a Force Multiplier during the weeklong celebration of the 27th Kadalag-an Festival, held from March 19 to 23, 2025.
The PGBI Victorias Chapter was entrusted by the City Government to work alongside the Philippine National Police (PNP) in ensuring the maintenance of peace and order throughout the festive week. Their contributions were instrumental in the successful execution of various events, allowing attendees to celebrate safely and joyously.
The ceremonial presentation featured former Kagawad Roy Cabares, representing Mr. Andrei A.Boy Garcia from the Office of the Executive Assistant IV, Office of the City Mayor of Victorias. Cabares graciously handed over the honorarium to Joemarie “Frmg Joma” Guanzon, symbolizing the city government’s appreciation for the diligent efforts of the PGBI Victorias Chapter.
In remarks during the event, Cabares highlighted the critical role that the PGBI Victorias Chapter played in maintaining security and order during the festival, praising their commitment and teamwork.
