ENGLISH VERSION:

In recent months, PGBI (Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc.) has experienced a significant increase in the use and distribution of its educational resources. Originally created as a comprehensive tool for brotherhood growth, knowledge, and members’ education, these resources are now being widely copied, modified, and rephrased by various groups, clubs, and individuals. Many of these groups are integrating the content into their own vlogs and online platforms, further expanding the reach of PGBI’s teachings.
One reason why they are capturing our resources is because none of our members volunteered to actively spread or propagate these resources. The lack of proactive effort to share and promote the materials has made it easier for others to take and adapt the content for their own use.
Our resources include articles, policies, procedures, instructions, and others. Even our membership rituals and ceremonies have been copied. The growing imitation and adaptation of PGBI’s materials speak volumes about their impact and relevance. Known for their clarity, Guardians’ accuracy, and practical application, these resources have become valuable tools for many who seek to deepen their commitment, loyalty and understanding of brotherhood. The fact that other groups are now customizing these materials highlights their usefulness and the trust placed in their content.
While some may see this as mere copying, it’s important to note that many of these groups are engaging in respectful rephrasing, editing, and tailoring of the original materials. They often add their own insights, contextualize content for their specific audiences, or incorporate multimedia elements to enhance engagement. This process can be viewed as an extension of the dissemination effort, helping to reach diverse audiences with messages rooted in sacred writing truth.
However, the widespread modification of PGBI resources also raises questions about intellectual property rights and proper attribution. It is essential for users of the content to respect the rights of the original creators (GSM) and give proper credit when necessary. At the same time, this trend presents opportunities for PGBI to strengthen its resource distribution channels, provide official adaptations, and foster partnerships that ensure the integrity of the original teachings.
The sad thing is that, the very members of this organization are not reading their resources ay they continuously violate some of our traditions and culture explained on those articles or books. This underscores the importance of members engaging more deeply with the materials and respecting the core principles and practices.
To promote responsible sharing and maintain the integrity of their resources, PGBI encourages groups and individuals to seek permission for significant modifications, cite sources properly, and communicate with the original content creators. Doing so not only honors the hard work of those who develop these materials but also ensures that the core messages remain faithful to GUARDIAN’s doctrine.
Additionally, the national president and chairman have started a program to train more lecturers and educators to uniform and standardize the knowledge. This initiative aims to equip more members with the proper understanding and delivery of PGBI’s teachings, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all platforms and presentations.
Furthermore, dozens of articles have been slowly publicized and even published on the PGBI National websites, further indicating the growing recognition and dissemination of the organization’s teachings.
The increasing trend of copying and adapting PGBI’s educational resources highlights their value and influence in brotherhly education. As more groups and individuals incorporate these materials into their outreach and online content, it becomes crucial to uphold principles of respect, integrity, and collaboration. In doing so, PGBI’s resources can continue to inspire, educate, and transform lives while fostering a community built on biblical truth and mutual respect. – GSM
