E. Adherence to Guidelines
Chapters within Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc. (PGBI) are required to operate in strict accordance with the established guidelines set forth by the organization’s Constitution, By-Laws, and policies. These foundational documents serve as the legal and organizational framework that ensures uniformity, integrity, and accountability across all chapters.
To maintain alignment with the national organization, each chapter must adhere to the prescribed standards of conduct, membership requirements, and organizational discipline. This includes:
- Standards of Conduct: Chapter members are expected to uphold the values of patriotism, discipline, brotherhood, and service as outlined in PGBI’s code of conduct. They must act responsibly and ethically in all their activities, fostering a positive image of the organization within their community.
- Membership Requirements: The chapter must follow the criteria for membership eligibility, recruitment, and retention as specified by PGBI. This ensures that all members share the organization’s core principles and are committed to its mission.
- Organizational Discipline: Chapters are accountable for maintaining discipline among their members, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, rules, and resolutions. This includes prompt adherence to directives from the national leadership, participation in organizational activities, and proper management of chapter affairs.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in corrective measures, including sanctions or possible revocation of chapter accreditation, in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Constitution and By-Laws. Upholding these standards is vital for preserving the integrity, reputation, and cohesion of PGBI at all levels.
