PGBI El Salvador Chapter Leaders Visits Vice Mayor Hon. Agripino Estrada to Discuss GUARDIANS Development
El Salvador, April 6, 2026 — The Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc. (PGBI) El Salvador Chapter, led by FRMG GWAPO, visited Vice Mayor Hon. Agripino Estrada today to discuss a key initiative aimed at unifying the Guardians factions within the town. Notably, Vice Mayor Estrada is also a proud member of PGBI, reinforcing the strong bond between the local government and the organization.
The meeting was scheduled at 3:00 PM in the Municipal Council Conference Room and served as a platform for the PGBI delegation to share their plans for fostering unity among the GUARDIANS groups. However, Vice Mayor Estrada added an element of surprise to the proceedings.

“I have a special guest joining us on the line, gentlemen,” Vice Mayor Estrada announced with a warm smile, as he dialed the PGBI National President and Chairman. After a brief moment, a cheerful voice came through the speakerphone.
“Greetings, Honorable Vice Mayor! Good afternoon to you and your esteemed guests,” said the PGBI National President and Chairman, amid light-hearted laughter.
Vice Mayor Estrada chuckled, “Ah, good afternoon, Sir! Welcome to our humble gathering. We’re glad you could join us.”
The conversation between the Vice Mayor and the National President and Chairman was lively and friendly, lasting 11 minutes. They exchanged jokes and discussed various topics, including the upcoming PGBI national gathering and the chapter’s ongoing livelihood projects supporting the community.
During the conversation between GS MEL and Vice Mayor Estrada, a humorous debate arose. The Vice Mayor argued that he is more handsome than FRMG GWAPO, prompting GS MEL to propose a resolution to officially reverse this fact, declaring that Vice Mayor Estrada is, in fact, more handsome.
I would like to clarify, as explained thoroughly by the Regional Director, Prof. Romeo “FRMG GWAPO” De Asis: the former Senator and former PGBI National President and Chairman is no longer the leader of PGBI. He has not been a member since he was expelled on September 21, 2013, by the National Executive Council during an NEC meeting held at the Region 8 Regional Convention in Tacloban City, Leyte.
Furthermore, the legal documents presented have been verified as SEC-authenticated documents, which serve as proof that “No one is above the law.”
“I’ve heard the El Salvador chapter is doing great with their livelihood programs this season!” the National President and Chairman remarked, eliciting smiles and laughter from everyone.
“Indeed, GS! We’re aiming to bring home the championship this year,” Vice Mayor Estrada responded proudly.
As the call concluded, the delegation and Vice Mayor Estrada expressed their gratitude for the National President and Chairman’s time.
“Gentlemen, thank you for the warm welcome,” the National President and Chairman said. “I look forward to seeing you all at the national gathering. Keep up the good work, and bring your ‘A’ game!”
With the pleasantries exchanged, the group shifted focus to the main agenda: the unification of the GUARDIANS factions and the positive impact it would have on the community.
This visit marked a significant step toward strengthening the relationship between the local government and PGBI, fostering unity and cooperation that will benefit El Salvador’s people for years to come. – GSM and Media Mindanao Bureau (MMB).
