PGBI Organization Commitment to Transparency and Free from Corruption

The PGBI organization, under the leadership of Engr Melliardine GS MEL G Gamet, has established a reputation for integrity and transparency in its operations. During his administration, the organization emphasizes a clean and accountable management of its financial processes, ensuring that all transactions are conducted without corruption.
A key feature of PGBI’s financial integrity is its transparent financial reporting process. The organization ensures that its financial statements are thoroughly audited by an independent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) before being presented to stakeholders. This rigorous audit process guarantees the accuracy and reliability of the financial reports, fostering trust among members and external partners.
Streamlined Membership Processes
Under GS MEL’s leadership, the organization has also streamlined the submission and processing of Membership IDs and Certificates. The chapter treasurer can now deposit directly into the national account, bypassing bureaucratic red tape and facilitating faster, more efficient processing of membership-related transactions.
The PGBI organization adheres to a regular financial reporting schedule, ensuring that members are always informed about the organization’s financial status. Key financial reports are presented during:
The National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings provide a platform for the organization’s leadership to present financial updates, discuss financial matters, and make informed decisions about the organization’s financial management.
At the Annual General Membership Meetings, the organization presents its audited financial statements, providing members with an overview of the organization’s financial performance and position.

Independent Certified Auditors’ Audit
In addition to transparency, the Internal Auditors regularly conduct spot checks on local chapters. While they could not achieve perfect oversight, these efforts have significantly reduced instances of corruption and malversations involving chapter funds. Nevertheless, some Chairmen or Founders still tend to control or handle their cash or financial matters independently, which poses ongoing challenges to full financial transparency.
Furthermore, the Secretary General annually submits the organization’s Financial Statements (AFS) to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), ensuring ongoing compliance and transparency.
One last thing to note is that it has been mandated, after every National Convention each year, the National Treasurer requests each host chapter chairman to submit their liquidation report.
Under Engr Melliardine “GS MEL” G. Gamet’s leadership, PGBI has fostered a culture of transparency and accountability. The organization’s emphasis on financial integrity and regular reporting has earned it a reputation as a responsible and trustworthy entity. This commitment to transparency and accountability will continue to guide PGBI’s financial management practices, ensuring the organization’s long-term sustainability and success. – GSM
