Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc. Joins PNP as Force Multiplier to Support Peace and Order During Holy Weeks and All Saints’ Days

In a significant move to enhance public safety and maintain peace during major religious and cultural observances, the Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc. (PGBI) has formally partnered with the Philippine National Police (PNP) as a Force Multiplier. This collaboration aims to assist law enforcement agencies in ensuring a smooth, safe, and peaceful experience for millions of Filipinos during Holy Weeks, All Saints’ Day, and other large-scale public activities.
The partnership was officially launched in a ceremony held at the PNP headquarters, where PGBI leaders and PNP officials emphasized the importance of community-based support in achieving peace and order. Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc., known for its strong presence in indigenous communities across the country, will mobilize its members to serve as supplementary manpower, provide local insights, and foster community cooperation during these busy seasons.
PGBI Regional Chairman from Region 18 NIRS Francis “FGGF FRANZ” Gubatayao, expressed his organization’s commitment to upholding peace, especially during times when religious and cultural gatherings draw large crowds. “We believe that our role as Indigenous People’s organization is to promote unity, respect, and peaceful coexistence. Partnering with the PNP allows us to serve as a bridge between law enforcement and our communities, ensuring that everyone can observe their traditions safely,” he said.
In another region, PGBI Siwawer chapter from Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Region 1, will served as a Force Multiplier starting from October 31, 2025, to November 2, 2025. They help maintain traffic directions and assist people going in and out of cemeteries. During Holy Week, they will also serve as traffic enforcers to ensure smooth flow and safety during processions and other activities. The chapter is being guided by PCOL Leland “SFGGF LEO IV” Benigno, Joebert “FRMG SIERA” Alvarez, and their Chapter Chairman, whose leadership is instrumental in coordinating their community support efforts.

The PNP’s Director General, Police General Carlos Y. Galvez Jr., welcomed the collaboration, noting that community involvement is crucial in maintaining peace and order. “Our partnership with PGBI enhances our capacity to monitor, respond, and prevent any untoward incidents. Their deep-rooted connection to local communities gives us an edge in addressing security concerns proactively,” he stated.
The initiative includes joint patrols, information drives, and community engagement activities. PGBI members will also assist in crowd control, traffic management, and providing logistical support during processions, vigils, and other public events. This integrated approach aims to minimize disruptions, prevent crimes, and foster a culture of respect and cooperation among Filipinos during these solemn and festive periods.
This partnership exemplifies a growing trend of collaborative security efforts that leverage local knowledge and community trust. As the Holy Week and All Saints’ Day season approaches, Filipinos can expect a more coordinated, peaceful, and meaningful observance, thanks in part to the dedicated efforts of Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc. and the PNP working hand-in-hand in service of the nation. – GSM
